Answer

In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). During the 2025 calendar year, I am advised that DPMC did not charge for decisions on requests under section 15 of the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act). I am further advised that in accordance with the Act, DPMC does consider if the fixing of a charge would enable a request to be granted.
