Answer
I have received the following advice on the funding and/or financing of local government adaptation plans: 3/9/2026: 26-BRF-02111 - Next steps on work to develop an Adaptation Funding and Financing Framework 16/7/2026: 26-BRF-01926 - National Adaptation Framework: Investment and Cost-sharing work programme update 20/5/2026: 26-BRF-01361 – Approval to Lodge/National Adaptation Framework: Investment and Cost-sharing Work Programme Update / Cabinet Paper: National Adaptation Framework: Investment and Cost-sharing Work Programme Update 26/3/2026: 26-BRF-00707 - Talking points ahead of CPMG meeting 30 March 2026 9/3/2026: 26-BRF-00490 – Draft meeting pack for 30 March 2026 CPMG for review / CPMG Paper 3.1: National Adaptation Framework: Delivery progress, cost-sharing and the New Zealand Flood Map 3/3/2026: - 26-BRF-00182 - National Adaptation Framework – short- and long-term options for cost-sharing I receive a large volume of correspondence and do not maintain a record of correspondence by specific topic. As a result, answering that part of your question would require a manual review of all relevant correspondence. This would involve a significant amount of time, and I do not consider it to be in the public interest.
