Answer
In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the responsible minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). I have had no discussions nor received any advice, and neither have staff in my office, from officials in DPMC regarding charging for a decision on a request under section 15 of the Official Information Act 1982. Charging guidelines for Official Information Act requests have been prepared by the Ministry of Justice and the Office of the Ombudsman and are available on their respective websites: www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/resources/charging-guide-charging-official-information-under-oia-and-lgoima www.justice.govt.nz/assets/1982-Official Information-Act-charging-guidelines.pdf
