Answer

The planned effective dates for the RSE Scheme changes are: • Agreement to Recruit (ATR) and Cost Recovery changes: before end of March 2027. • Variations of Conditions (VOCs), Incidental Tasks, Complaints, Pastoral Care, Minimum Entitlements, Accommodation Standards, and Compliance Framework changes: Effective dates have not yet been determined but are currently expected to be implemented in the second half of 2027. • Sick leave changes: The Employment Leave Act 2026 has now passed into law and will come into effect on 6 August 2028. • Limited Visa Status changes: Expected to be implemented in 2029. The effective dates for changes beyond March 2027 remain indicative and are subject to policy, legislative, operational, and implementation considerations.
