On 1 July 2026, the Local Government portfolio transferred from the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) to the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT), this included all current and previous work programmes. As such, my previous answer covers DIA and MCERT. The Water Services Authority - Taumata Arowai holds some information about councils that contract water services to Veolia.
