Does the Minister stand by her FENZ officials’ statements and actions?

No. Fire and Emergency New Zealand has a paid headcount of more than 3,000. Unless someone expects a Minister to personally review and endorse every statement and action of every employee, I could not honestly make that claim. What I do stand by is FENZ response to the Committee when asked to compare reporting requirements from this term to the previous Minister “reporting to the Minister expanded considerably in both frequency and subject matter, and came to include specific and recurring reporting on fleet”.
