Answered by

Hon Erica Stanford

Answer

The Ministry of Education has been charged with establishing the New Zealand School Property Agency (NZSPA). NZSPA is proposed to be formally established as a Crown Agent in the second half of 2026, subject to the passing of the Education and Training (System Reform) Amendment Bill and key milestones being met.
