Answer

I am advised that Corrections has not undertaken any additional work to identify, fund, or procure new supported accommodation for women in the Waikato since 1 January 2026. I am further advised that Corrections continually assesses its range of reintegration services against the evolving needs of the people they manage, to ensure they are providing effective and efficient services which deliver the best possible results in reducing reoffending.
