While I have not read this report since becoming Minister, I recognise that due to a variety of factors, many in the building and construction sector are doing it tough. That is why it is so important to continue advancing the government's ambitious agenda, which includes restoring the economy to a stable footing and supporting the construction industry. That will ultimately benefit the whole industry by increasing opportunities, reducing complacency and making it easier to grow.
