Rt Hon Winston Peters

Answer

None. We are aware of the issue, and understand KiwiRail, Auckland Council, Auckland Transport are working on this matter now. Publicly available timetable information on Auckland Transport’s website shows City South Line trains travel at a 5 minute, 10 minute, 15 minute rhythm during peak periods, which allows for a few freight movements. We also note the West Line also has a 5 minute, 10 minute, 15 minute rhythm and there are no freight trains running.
