Answer

I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 35859 (2026) Disclosure of the rate of return on equity could prejudice NZTA's commercial position by revealing the contractor’s financing arrangements, and could adversely affect future NZTA procurement processes by providing prospective bidders and financiers with insight into commercially sensitive market information The period over which the return on equity will be earned is the 25-year operational period.
