Answer

I refer the Member to the Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) website: https://www.linz.govt.nz/guidance/overseas-investment/ways-invest/pathways-business/investing-production-forestry-and-forestry-rights/farm-forestry-conversions Consent conditions generally include a condition requiring the consent holder to establish a specified area of forest by a specified date. LINZ monitors compliance with this and other consent conditions through regular reporting requirements.
