Hon Erica Stanford

Answer

Schools are required to report on particular student performance matters under the Education (School Planning and Reporting) Regulations 2023 and Education (School Boards) Regulations 2020. Under these regulations schools are required to report: • annually on students’ progress and achievement against the national curriculum; and • twice yearly, in writing, on each student's progress and achievement across the curriculum, including literacy and mathematics. The Ministry of Education administers these regulatory requirements and monitors compliance with them.
