In what circumstances would it be appropriate to charge for replying to Official Information Act requests made to their office, or agencies for which the Minister is responsible?
Answered by
Hon Andrew Hoggard
List MP · ACT Party · Minister for Biosecurity
Answer
Charging may be appropriate where a request requires considerable time or resources but it’s not something I have seen the need to consider based on requests received by my Office.
