Answer
In relation to interest rate hedging, I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 35863 (2026). The specific cost of these arrangements is commercially sensitive as it forms part of the project's commercially sensitive financing arrangements. Disclosure could prejudice NZTA's commercial position by revealing financing assumptions and pricing information that could affect future procurement processes, negotiations and value for money outcomes for the Crown. In relation to inflation hedging, the unitary charge is partly indexed. I refer the Member to my response to Written Parliamentary Question 34442 (2026).
