Answer

The number and total cost of off site manufactured classrooms purchased by the Ministry of Education in the past five financial years, and to date in 2025/26, are provided in the attached table. Currently, in the 2025/26 financial year, 95 classrooms are in construction but not yet fully purchased. There are also a further 110 classrooms, as offsite manufactured solutions, that are being considered whether orders may be placed in this financial year. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 358 (2026).
