Answer

I am advised that the purpose of Clause 1.2(2) is to ensure that users of the standard are aware of the need to check for the current version of the relevant International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM). On a case-by-case basis, the Ministry for Primary Industries may use its communication channels to alert users of the standard to significant changes to a relevant ISPM.
