Answer
Cabinet decided to wind down New Zealand Green Investment Finance (NZGIF) in April 2025 [CAB-25-MIN-0086.02 refers]. As part of its wind-down plan and asset realisation process, NZGIF have been exiting its remaining investments and returning capital to the Crown. NZGIF partially divested its investment into KAYASAND HOLDINGS LIMITED and now holds a 13.7% shareholding in KAYASAND HOLDINGS LIMITED.
