  • Will the nine new industry-led secondary school subjects be approved subjects for University-Entrance; if not, why not?

Answered by

Hon Erica Stanford

Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Minister of Education

Answer

No decisions have yet been made about university entrance requirements. Once decisions on changes to senior secondary qualifications are finalised and the new curriculum and qualifications are developed, NZQA and universities will make decisions on any changes to university entrance requirements, including for industry-led subjects.
