Answer

I am advised by the Department of Internal Affairs that this has been lottery operational policy for many years. Through the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department and the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Department provides operational policy advice on funding policies and procedures. On 24 May 2026, I agreed to the retention of existing fund exclusion lists without any additional exclusions.
