Answer

The three consent holders requested the withholding of the consideration under section 9(2)(b)(ii) of the Official Information Act 1982 to enable them to settle the transaction. Consideration for transaction acquiring land is generally withheld for 3 months where there are grounds to do so, after which time the information will be released.
