Question

  • What items, if any, have been repurposed from other agencies for use in the premises of the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT), and from which agencies were they obtained?

Answered by

Hon Chris Bishop

Member for Hutt South · National Party · Minister responsible for RMA Reform

Answer

I am advised that workstations and desk monitors from the New Zealand Transport Agency have been removed and are currently in storage. The Ministry of Education will be leaving furniture and ICT equipment in 1 The Terrace, which will be repurposed for the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport's (MCERT) fit-out. Other items from agencies which are planned to be used in the premises of MCERT have not yet been repurposed and remain with those agencies at this time. I also refer the Member to my response to written parliamentary question 35006 (2026).
