What amount, if any, has been incurred for the uplift, transport, storage, cleaning, refurbishment or reconfiguration of items repurposed from other agencies for the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT), and which agency bore that cost?
Answered by
Hon Chris Bishop
Member for Hutt South · National Party · Minister responsible for RMA Reform
Answer
I am advised that approximately $11,100 of storage costs have been incurred to date to uplift and store furniture and equipment repurposed from the New Zealand Transport Agency for the Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport (MCERT) to date. This cost was incurred by the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment (which the Government Property Office is a part of). This cost will be recouped from MCERT as part of the fit-out project, after the budget is approved.
