Will the residential phase of the second Oranga Tamariki military-style academy be evaluated; if so, when and by whom?

Answer

I am advised by Oranga Tamariki a full, independent programme evaluation was completed for the Military-Style Academy Pilot. For the second Military-Style Academy, only the programme elements that have changed are being evaluated. I am further advised these programme changes were based on the lessons learned from the initial evaluation. The evaluation is currently being undertaken by TIRIA (formerly Malatest International), the same agency that conducted the Pilot evaluation.
