Answer

I am advised that since 27 November 2023, Customs has spent a total of $91,816.33 on contractors and consultants to assist with the organisational change as part of Budget 2024 baseline reductions. These costs were for one contractor engaged to assist in the drafting of Customs’ organisational change proposal and decision documents, at a cost of $36,944.33 (including GST). Additionally, two contractors already engaged by Customs for a different project provided change management assistance with the organisational change programme. The combined cost for these contractors for this work was $54,872 (including GST).
