Answer

NZTA has had a long-standing partnership with Hōkai Nuku since 2010 on the project. Hōkai Nuku is the authorised representative body, representing four Iwi and hapū mana whenua - Ngāti Manuhiri, Ngāti Rango of Kaipara, Ngāti Whātua, and Te Uri o Hau. Any agreements and commercial participation will be between Northway and Hoka Nuku.
