Answer

The New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) has purchased Miles, an AI-enabled triage and response agent designed to support the organisation in managing industry engagement enquiries, capability proposals, and external service requests. The provider was engaged under the All of Government Consultancy Panel and contracted for works through a Consultancy Services Order. Microsoft Copilot is provided to NZDF and MOD staff and personnel as part of their respective Microsoft subscriptions. ChatGPT has also been procured on a limited bases for research purposes through the standard NZDF purchase process.
