Answer

I am advised that, since 27 November 2023, no Algorithm Impact Assessments have been completed by the Ministry of Social Development or by Crown entities for which I am responsible. The Ministry of Social Development’s Privacy, Human Rights and Ethics Framework and its Certification and Accreditation process are used to ensure that any risks arising from the use of algorithms are well managed, in line with the Ministry’s obligations under the Algorithm Charter.
