Answer

The Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport advises me that between 27 November 2023 and 1 July 2026, no algorithm impact assessments have been completed by the former Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. For information regarding Ministry for Cities, Environment, Regions and Transport following 1 July 2026, I refer the Member to the Minster Responsible for RMA Reform’s reply to written question 34011 (2026). Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it has done risk assessments relating to the use of AI, however it is not aware of any specific algorithm assessments.
