Answer

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that, under its Master Agency Agreement with Bayleys Real Estate, certain land packages fall within the scope of their contract. Should any additional land packages that come to market fall within this scope, no tender process is needed as an open tender has already been issued, evaluated and awarded for this scope. For land packages outside of the Master Agency Scope, Open Market tenders have been carried out to appoint real estate agent(s). This includes the Don McKinnon Drive package, where it was noted within this RFP that the successful respondent (agent) may be used on a direct source basis for future similar divestments. To date this provision has not been utilised.
