EA: As an Independent Crown Entity, the Electricity Authority is not mandated under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme. The Authority does measure and report on its greenhouse gas emissions via its Annual Report: https://www.ea.govt.nz/documents/8633/Annual_Report_202425.pdf EECA: "EECA budgeted $3,150,000 in grant funding related expenditure over the 2025 calendar year to support other organisations to deliver under the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (M037). EECA also budgeted $5,500 over the 2025 calendar year to comply with the Carbon Neutral Government Programme as an organisation."
