I am advised that no algorithm impact assessments have been completed by Corrections since 27 November 2023. I am further advised that Corrections is a signatory to the Algorithm Charter for Aotearoa New Zealand, and consideration of algorithmic impacts will be incorporated into Corrections’ assessment and governance process for artificial intelligence use cases which is currently under development.
