Answer

I acknowledge the importance of the Dementia Mate Wareware Action Plan 2026-2031, which was developed by the dementia sector with input and support from a wide range of stakeholders. I am advised that actions outlined in the plan will be supported through existing programmes of work and ongoing system initiatives, including the seven service trials funded through Budget 2022. These trials are currently being evaluated, and the findings will help inform future service planning and investment decisions. The evaluation report is expected to be completed by June 2027.
