Question

  • How many, if any, unpaid road user charges, tolls or infringement notices, are currently outstanding in respect of ministerial self-drive vehicles?

Answered by

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon

Member for Botany · National Party · Minister responsible for Ministerial Services

Answer

There are currently no unpaid road user charges, tolls, or infringement notices outstanding in respect of ministerial self-drive vehicles. Road user charges and toll payments for ministerial self-drive vehicles are managed by VIP Transport, and there are no outstanding amounts owing. Infringement notices, including those relating to speeding or parking offences, are the responsibility of the Minister to whom the vehicle was allocated at the time of the offence. There are currently no outstanding infringement notices in respect of ministerial self-drive vehicles.
