Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Education follows the Public Service Commission’s Model Standards for managing conflicts of interest. All declared conflicts from contractors or consultants are considered prior to any engagement. This includes declarations of any other employment or paid work they are undertaking which could be considered an actual, potential or perceived conflict. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 33867 and 33868 (2026).
