Answer

The review of Initial Teacher Education programme requirements is initially focused on English-medium early learning, primary, and secondary education settings. The Ministry of Education is currently seeking views from Māori-medium and Kaupapa Māori providers, on the sequencing of review activity relating to Māori- immersion settings.
