How much, if any, did the Minister’s departments, agencies, crown entities and any other bodies that the Minister is responsible for, if any, spend on the carbon neutral government programme in the 2025 calendar year?

Answer

As Minister of Science, Innovation and Technology, I have no responsibility for any government departments. With regard to agencies, Crown entities and any other bodies under the Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio, I am advised that Callaghan Innovation and New Zealand Institute for Public Health and Forensic Science spent $21,389 and $105,975, respectively, on the Carbon Neutral Government Programme (CNGP) in 2025 calendar year. No other science entities within my Science, Innovation and Technology portfolio spent funds for the CNGP in the 2025 calendar year.
