Question

  • How, if at all, were the SMART (Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting Tool) audit logs used to determine that the data breach incident involved 276 students across seven schools?

Answered by

Hon Erica Stanford

Member for East Coast Bays · National Party · Minister of Education

Answer

I am advised by the Ministry of Education that it is not in the public interest for this information to be released. Doing so could compromise the security and integrity of the Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting Tool system and the student data it contains.
