Answer

I am advised that there has been no change in the way Health New Zealand holds this information. This information was routinely collated to support the Health NZ change process. With the conclusion of the Health NZ change process in November 2025, this information is no longer collated regularly. I am further advised that redundancy information continues to be held across the 27 payroll systems and associated HR records used by Health NZ. As a result, responding to requests for this information now requires manual collation across multiple systems, which cannot always be completed within the timeframes that apply to Written Parliamentary Questions.
