Hon Matt Doocey

Answer

As Minister, I would expect officials to keep me and my office appropriately updated as concerns and decisions relating to Wakari Hospital Ward 10A evolved. Since 16 April 2026 I have received regular updates through the Health New Zealand Mental Health Weekly Report, and have met with officials on multiple occasions.
