What findings, if any, from the marine simulations completed to date indicate that operational restrictions will apply to the new Cook Strait ferries berthing or navigating at Wellington or Picton, and what further simulations remain outstanding?

Answer

This is not information held by a shareholding Minister, but needless to say this likely has a thing or two to do with simulating sailing and berthing operations. This is a standard and ongoing process as part of the design stage of procuring new vessels. We can rule out take off and landing simulations for flight paths.
