Answer

I am advised that only one organisational restructure, initiated in May 2024, affected staff and functions currently undertaken by Ngā Poutoko Aromatawai Māori (NPAM). As a result of the final decisions announced on 13 June 2024, the number of full-time equivalent (FTE) positions in NPAM decreased from 34 to 25. The organisational restructure resulted in the following roles moving from NPAM to other areas of NZQA: • Qualification Development Facilitators (National Qualifications Services) (2 FTE) moved to the Moderation Cycle Manager in Assessment and Moderation. • Kaitohutohu Kaupapa Matua (1 FTE) moved to Manager Planning, Integration and Improvement. • Kaiwhakamahere Kaupapa Matua (1 FTE) moved to Manager Planning, Integration and Improvement.
