Question

  • When was the state house at 19 Hapau Street, Remuera, Auckland built and what characteristics of this property made it suitable for Kāinga Ora's state house sales programme?

Answered by

Hon Chris Bishop

Member for Hutt South · National Party · Minister of Housing

Answer

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that this home was built in 1950 and was assessed as having a net book value of $2 million. It therefore met the high value criteria for divestment.
