Answer
I am advised that no Ministry of Social Development frontline managers have been subject to formal performance management since 1 July 2024 for not achieving any of the 11 performance measures referred to in my response to WPQ 30232 (20262). I am further advised that accountability for managing performance against these measures sits with Regional Commissioners. Frontline managers are primarily responsible for the day-to-day management and support of staff, operational delivery, and maintaining service quality. Their focus is on managing their teams and implementing the operational requirements established through regional and national planning processes. This is also my response to WPQ 33111
