Answer

I am advised that the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is unable to provide the data requested as this information is not centrally recorded. Providing the Member with a detailed breakdown of the data would require substantial collation and engagement and divert MSD staff from their core duties. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, that the time, and hence the expense, of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest. This is also my response to written parliamentary question 33099 (2026).
