How many, if any, state houses were removed from service pending sale in 2025/26 and how many, if any, of those houses remain unsold?

Answer
Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that in 2025/26, 730 homes were removed from service pending sale. Of these, 236 homes remain unsold as at 30 June 2026, including 130 homes that are subject to conditional sale and purchase agreements.
