Answer

I am advised that the Student Monitoring, Assessment and Reporting (SMART) Assessment was undertaken between 20 April to 22 May 2026. Term 2 began on 20 April 2026. SMART is a low-stakes assessment designed to provide a check-in on a student’s progress, supporting teachers in making informed classroom decisions about teaching and learning programmes. It offers a snapshot of what learners know and can do in the moment. If children had not yet covered a strand of a curriculum area, that is noted on their report card.
