Further to his reply to Question 27984 (2026), was the Kāinga Ora Board, Simon Moutter, aware of Kāinga Ora’s former Chief Executive’s expectation expressed in his letter of 14 May 2024 that Hon Nicola Willis and Hon Chris Bishop provide a written retraction of their statements (including to all those at the meeting), a formal apology, and the development of “some clear standards and practices … to establish an appropriate working relationship” and if so, did the Board discuss that expectation?

Answer

I am advised he was aware of the letter, but not the detail contained within it, and it did not have any bearing on the letter sent on 19 June 2024.
