Answer

I am advised that NZTA completed various inspections between 2022 and 2025, these included an audit inspection by the structure’s inspection engineer, structural inspections and post flood inspection. A structural inspection regime is in place, which are undertaken each year as per NZTA’s bridge inspection policy. These inspections evaluate the structural integrity and material conditions to ensure it remains safe for road users.
