Answer

Officials receive information on subcontractor and supplier engagement through the Alliance’s monthly report to the Project Alliance Board. This includes procurement activity and performance against the relevant Key Result Areas (KRA)/Key Performance Indicators (KPI) measures, including engagement and spend with Mana Whenua, Mātāwaka and Pasifika businesses. The monthly report does not provide a separate count or contract value for all businesses with a physical place of business in Lower Hutt. That geographic breakdown is not currently reported as a discrete monthly KPI.
